Enecoat Technologies develops and commercializes solar cell materials and modules for a clean environment and sustainable use of natural energy. We are a startup based on the seeds of research cultivated over several years by Prof. Atsushi Wakamiya at Kyoto University’s Institute for Chemical Research. Our goal is environmental protection and effective use of natural energy. We are creating the future of energy with ultrathin solar cell films.
In parallel with the launch of a new factory and starting mass production line in FY2026, we are investigating to install another production line by FY2028 as a step towards future gigawatt-class production.
For next-generation solar power, perovskite solar cells are a promising emerging technology offering high efficiency not only on sunny days, but under cloudy sky and indoor light also.
Perovskite solar cells are manufactured using low-cost processes and can be made flexible and lightweight. Perovskite solar cells will bring many changes to our life.
